Staying on Task: Successful Strategies of the NCCE Task Force on Payment for Clinical Experience

Purpose: The purpose of this education session is to share the insights, strategies, and tools the NCCE Task Force on Payment for Clinical Experience engaged to achieve desired outcomes. The intent is to provide the participant with a road map and tools for designing and implementing an effective task force team. Specific application of tools will be demonstrated through presentation and discussion of the various methods employed by the Task Force on Payment for Clinical Experience to achieve its goals. Methods and/or Description of Project: The methods and processes utilized by the NCCE Task Force on Payment for Clinical Experience during their deliberations will be presented, demonstrated, and discussed. Clearly delineated processes for task force work and a systematic approach to seek evidence related to the topic and purpose established a collaborative framework for consensus building and trustworthiness of the results. The strategies, tools, and processes utilized by the Task Force on Payment for Clinical Experience illustrates the elements of engaging in effective crucial conversations for communicating with each other and strategies for success when working in a cross-generational and diverse stakeholder team.
