The Department of Physical Therapy at Augusta University (formerly known as Medical College of Georgia) in Augusta, Georgia, invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position as core faculty in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the rank commensurate with experience. Our program boasts a long history of excellence and a large network of strong clinical relationships. Expertise:

Responsibilities include teaching in one’s area of expertise, maintaining a productive scholarly agenda, and providing service as required by the department, college, or university. Participation in a faculty practice environment is also available. Additionally, an opportunity exists to participate in our orthopedic residency program. Candidates must be committed to learner-centered education and working cooperatively with faculty and staff.

Qualifications:

Current, unrestricted physical therapist licensure in the United States and eligibility for physical therapist licensure in Georgia. A terminal academic degree is required and ABD candidates are encouraged to apply; clinical specialization is preferred. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with diverse populations and the ability to work collaboratively are required.
