Carrie Clark Hawkins

Carrie Clark Hawkins is the founding chair of the Whitworth Doctor of Physical Therapy in Spokane, Washington, since July 2020. She served as chair of the ACAPT Student Leadership Development task force from 2018 to 2023. Prior to Whitworth, she served as the DCE for Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky from 2014 to 202. During her time at Bellarmine, she was active in the Ohio-Kentucky consortium and a member of the Kentucky House of Delegates. She completed her MS, PT at the University of Kentucky in 1998, her transitional DPT from Regis University in 2007, her Ph.D. in Leadership in Higher Education form Bellarmine University in 2020, and the APTA Fellowship in Higher Education Leadership in 2022.
