Professional Bio

Dr. Erin Faraclas is currently an Associate Professor at Johnson and Wales University (JWU) in the College of Health and Wellness. Erin came to JWU from MCPHS in Worcester and Rocky Mountain University (RMU) in Provo, Utah. Previously, Erin was the Program Director for 10 years at Provo College in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program.

Erin currently teaches in the areas of Neurological patient management, neurologic pathology, health and wellness promotion, patient management skills, and population health. Erin holds a DPT degree from Temple University and a PhD in Health Promotion and Wellness from RMU. Erin holds additional credentials including National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist (MSCS), Certified Clinical and Advanced Clinical Instructor, and an APTA Clinical Instructor Trainer. Erin serves the FSBPT, APTA and contributes to various task forces at local and national levels.

Erin has an active research agenda related to population-based health, quality of life, Multiple Sclerosis, and the intersection of the three.
