Title of Research: Exploring the Prevalence of Self-Compassion and Compassion Fatigue Among Allied Health Professions Faculty

Ideal Participant: PT, PTA, SCCE, Faculty

Description: The purpose of this study is to explore perceptions of self-compassion and compassion fatigue among occupational therapy (OT/OTA), physical therapy (PT/PTA), and speech-language pathology (SLP/SLPA) faculty. Health professions faculty are responsible for ensuring students' needs are met; however, giving oneself can make it challenging to retain sufficient compassion for themselves. This balancing act may negatively impact personal well-being and poor retention of faculty.
