Title of Research: Utilization of the Movement System in Pediatric Physical Therapy Education

Ideal Participant: Educators teaching pediatric content in DPT programs

Description:

The purpose of this research study (IRB#2024-1011) is to investigate to what extent faculty teaching pediatrics in Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs in the United States incorporate curricular content related to the movement system (such as the definition of the movement system, movement analysis of tasks, and movement system diagnoses) into their course instruction, and what instructional strategies they use. We are asking pediatric educators in DPT programs to complete a confidential survey which is estimated to take approximately 12-15 minutes. All pediatric educators, regardless of their incorporation of the movement system during their course instruction, are encouraged to participate.
