Professional Bio

Dr. Christine Chansamone, a licensed physical therapist and board-certified specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy, is a core faculty member in NCC's Doctor of Physical Therapy program. They have designed multiple courses focused on personal and professional development, musculoskeletal evaluation and treatment, and academic coaching/mentorship for DPT students.

Beyond teaching, Dr. Chansamone is deeply involved in advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and justice (DEIBJ) initiatives across institutional, college, departmental, programmatic, and professional service levels. Their research focuses on burnout in healthcare education and practice, student success, curricular design, trauma-informed education and care, and fostering DEIBJ in academic and clinical settings.
