Professional Bio
Kathryn Sutton, PTA, MA received her Associates of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant Technology at Stark State College, followed by her Bachelor of Business Administration from Malone University and Master of Liberal Studies from Kent State University. Kathryn’s clinical background is mostly in outpatient orthopedics, with her most recent work in PTA Education, specifically in Clinical Education. She has earned the CCIP Level I and II credentials, as well as trainer status from 2019-2023. Kathryn enjoys giving back to the profession and the community through volunteer service, she has served Ohio on various committees over the years. Kathryn was a Panelist for the “Passing the Torch” presentation at the Future of PT Summit at the APTA Centennial in 2021, as well as a Panelist for OPTA’s Fall Conference in 2022 on “Leadership Journeys”. She currently serves as the PTA Council Representative for Ohio, working with the OPTA Board of Directors and the Ohio Delegation. Kathryn is an Instructor and the ACCE for her alma mater, Stark State College in North Canton, Ohio.
