Professional Bio

Dr. Larisa Reed Hoffman is a Professor in the School of Physical Therapy at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She holds a PhD in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami, where she conducted her doctoral research under the mentorship of Dr. Edelle Field-Fote. Dr. Hoffman has been recognized for her teaching excellence. She collaborates and leads curricular development at Regis University. Through a grant from Physiopedia, Dr. Hoffman mentors program directors for professional rehabilitation programs (physical therapy, occupational therapy, and prosthetics/orthotics). This initiative facilitates international collaborations with colleagues in Ukraine and Uganda. Combining expertise in learning science, neurological rehabilitation, and commitment to education, Dr. Hoffman is dedicated to promoting principles of learning science to advance professional education in physical therapy and rehabilitation professions.
