Professional Bio

Dr. McGee is an Assistant Professor and Director of Strategic Operations at the University of Delaware, Department of Physical Therapy. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists and a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy as well as a graduate of the APTA’s Academy of Education Fellowship in Higher Education Leadership. As a staunch advocate for formal post-professional education, Dr. McGee has been involved in all aspects of residency and fellowship education since 2011. He has played a key role in the development and accreditation of programs for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. His dedication to advancing residency and fellowship training led to his appointment to the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education (ABPTRFE) where he currently holds the position of Chair.
