I am a board-certified clinical specialist in pediatric physical therapy who transitioned to academia after 30 years of clinical practice to help speed the implementation of innovative, evidence-informed practice in real-world clinical settings. Skilled in knowledge translation capacity building, leading virtual teams, qualitative methods and mixed-method evaluation of educational and clinical implementation initiatives, and the facilitation of a systematic, tailored implementation plan to disseminate and implement the best available evidence. My research focuses on capacity building in implementation practice and the intersection of quality improvement, implementation science, and continuing professional development for clinicians to support best-practice implementation in pediatric care.
