Gary Eugene Johnson

Dr. Gary Johnson is a medical instructor in the Duke University School of Medicine Doctor of Physical Therapy division. Dr. Johnson attended North Carolina Central University where he completed his bachelor's degree in athletic training. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Johnson is a board-certified clinical specialist in Sports Physical Therapy. His clinical focus is primarily in orthopaedics and sports medicine. He also has a keen interest in social determinants of health, DEI, and interprofessional education (IPE). Dr. Johnson is the physical therapy clinician for the Duke School of Medicine Interprofessional Education (IPE) clinic.
