Kathryn Anne Panasci

Dr. Kathryn Panasci is an Associate Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program and Assistant Dean for Interprofessional Education within the School of Health professions at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) in Lubbock, Texas. Her teaching activities focus primarily on professional development, foundational management skills, acute care, and wound care curriculum. She has published and presented at the local, state, and national levels in the areas of acute and wound care physical therapy practice, ethics and professional responsibility, and interprofessional education. She received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University (2004) and her post-professional Doctor in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (2011). Dr. Panasci is a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) and maintains clinical practice in the acute and wound care practice setting. She is author and editor of the Acute Care Handbook for Physical Therapists and serves as associate editor for the Journal of Acute Care Physical Therapy and reviewer for the Journal of Clinical Electrophysiology & Wound Management.
