Professional Bio

Experienced Physical Therapist | PTA Program Director | Specialist in ICU Early Mobilization | Educator & Advocate for Evidence-Based Care

With 25 years of dedicated experience in physical therapy, I bring a unique blend of clinical expertise and academic leadership to the healthcare field. My journey began in pediatrics and evolved into a specialization in acute care, where I honed my skills in the early mobilization of ventilated ICU patients at Community Hospital South. My passion for education led me to transition into academia, first as the PTA Program Director at the Krannert School of Physical Therapy and now at Marian University, where I am developing a new PTA program. Alongside my academic role, I continue to practice as a PRN Physical Therapist, ensuring my clinical skills remain sharp and current. I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.
