Professional Bio

Sally Le Cras, PT, DPT, PCS earned a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 1992 and Doctor of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in 2013. She became Board-Certified as Clinical Specialist Pediatric Physical Therapy in 2008 and recertified in 2018. Sally is a PT III at Cincinnati Children's where she serves as the Director of the Pediatric Physical Therapy Residency Program and Director of OT/PT Residency and Fellowship Programs. Dr. Le Cras is also a Core Faculty member of the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children's Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND Program). Sally serves as Vice Chair of the Residency and Fellowship Special Interest Group of the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy and is the leader of the APTA Clinical Practice Guideline Development Group on the PT Management of Children with Idiopathic Toe Walking. Dr. Le Cras previously taught as an adjunct at Mount St. Joseph University, with responsibility for their pediatric and advanced pediatric courses and continues to provide lectures/labs at Mount St. Joseph University, the University of Dayton and the University of Cincinnati. Sally co-authored two book chapters in the Campbell's Physical Therapy for Children 6th edition (2023) on Musculoskeletal Development (Ch 6) and Adaptation and Orthopedic Conditions (Ch 16).
